Making time for each guest on your wedding day can be tricky, especially with a large guest list. A receiving line ensures you can connect with everyone. After the ceremony, line up with your wedding party on the way to dinner so guests can offer well wishes, hugs, and advice.

For buffet dinners, the line allows a few moments with each guest while waiting for food, though it may delay your own meal. Your coordinator can save you a plate so you don’t miss out.
